Next Exit Productions began in 2023 with a simple thought: What if there were more opportunities for brand-new stories to find an audience?

We're playwrights, directors, actors, designers, musicians,

and creative collaborators who spend a lot of time with

other playwrights, directors, actors, designers, musicians,

and creative collaborators. The wheels started turning, and

we realized:

"We've already got the people. Let's make the work happen."

Since then, we've been creating opportunities for new voices

to move from page to stage through original theatre

productions, staged readings, film projects, and Cast Iron Storytelling—our live storytelling series celebrating authentic human experiences.

We believe developing new work should be both ambitious and welcoming. Every production brings together artists across generations—from Gen Z to Boomers—to create bold, thoughtful work in an environment where creativity, collaboration, and curiosity all have a seat at the table.
