We bring playwrights, actors, directors, designers, storytellers, and audiences together to give brand new work something every original idea needs: a chance.
A chance to move from page to stage.
A chance for artists to develop their craft.
A chance for audiences to experience something they've never seen.
A chance for new voices & perspectives to become part of the cultural conversation.
We're not interested in waiting until a story is already proven to give it our attention. We believe new work deserves investment while it's still becoming.
Since 2023, Next Exit has created opportunities for artists to develop and produce original theatre, storytelling, film, and music. We've brought artists of different generations and disciplines into the same creative space, helping new work grow through collaboration, experimentation, and professional production.
Your support helps make that happen.
As a nonprofit without our own venue, every production requires us to build the infrastructure around the art—from rehearsal and performance space to the professional artists who make the work possible. Donations help us compensate creative teams for their expertise and create the conditions where new work can actually be professionally developed, produced, and shared with an audience.
