Cast Iron Storytelling is a true storytelling series that brings everyday people to the stage to share memories about the life experiences that shape who we are.
Inspired by the power of storytelling to connect neighbors with neighbors across our community, Jason developed Cast Iron Storytelling as a way to share the stories that shape who we are.
True stories are like cast iron skillets. Seasoned and made to last a lifetime as we hand them down from one generation to the next. Cast Iron Storytelling seeks storytellers who are not performers. The act of telling stories comes naturally around the supper table, or rocking on porches. Storytelling is for all.
Cast Iron Storytelling debuted as a Barking Legs Theater Works In Process: Artist Residency.
And now, we've partnered with Barking Legs Theater and WUTC's "Open Book" to bring new live events and radio broadcasts to the Chattanooga community!
